Indications and Usage

Topical, Antimicrobial skin and hair cleanser enriched with emollients and protein collagen to hydrate scalp and dermal tissues. Rich, cosmetic-quality medicated lotion formulation which does not produce dermal or tissue irritation. Effectively combats ammonia related burns and neutralizes body odor. Destroys gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria while inhibiting additional growth with daily usage. Use in infection control programs to bathe healthcare residents as well as personnel handwashing procedures. Protein collagen reconditions dermis by providing nutritional benefits for dry, overworked tissue and geriatric skin cells. Proven effective in the elimination of E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas, MRSA, V.R.E. and those organisms common to the spread of nosocomial infection. Excellent for use in daily infection control programs of prevention and handwashing systems to halt the spread of contamination. Loving Lather II^® eliminates the problem of Xerosis in geriatric patient care.

Microbiology

1. Draize Dermal Irritation Test Results • Not a dermal irritant.
2. SkinTex-Dermal Irritation Test • Not a dermal irritant.
3. Oral Toxicity • Non-Toxic LD50 > 25 g/kg.
4. Zone of Inhibition (Fed. Circ. 198, USFDA) Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus: No growth.
5. Time Kill Study - 1, 3, and 5 Minutes: S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, and S. typhimurium reduction of 97.5% to 99% in one minute contact.
6. Broad Spectrum Concentration is 8000 ppm against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi, and acid fast bacteria.

Dosage and Administration

Loving Lather II^® has been proven to be safe, non-toxic and with no contra-indications in daily hygiene programs. Concentrated skin cleanser designed specifically to reduce the risk of skin breakdown and prevent the spread of infection. Cleanses and hydrates dermal tissue promoting healthier skin and higher quality of patient care. Environmentally friendly, causing no residue or build-up in plumbing systems or water supplies unlike industrial, detergent based cleansers. Does not contain Sodium Chloride (salt) or any salt derivatives which may cause skin drying, flaking, itching, skin tears, which ultimately leads to breakdown. Contains no fillers or polymer derivatives which occlude dermal tissue and restrict oxygen flow. Excellent for use in dispenser systems for antimicrobial handwashing to halt the chain of cross-infection.
